About Jeremy
My name is Jeremy Caggiano I have been working with animals all of my life and I’ve worked at Dewey’s for a little over a year now. Before I started my career with dogs I worked with exotic reptiles. As soon as I started at my first daycare, I fell in love with it, and I knew from there that being a dog trainer is what I want to do. After I started at Dewey's shortly after I adopted my beautiful girl, Macy. People often say that dogs are a man’s best friend, but for me, they were so much more than that.
There was a time in my life when I was heading down a path that wasn’t good for me. I was lost, struggling, and making choices that were taking me further away from the person I wanted to be. Some days, it felt easier to give up than to keep moving forward.
Then dogs came into my life and changed everything.
They didn’t judge me for my mistakes. They didn’t care about my past or the battles I was fighting. They simply showed up every day with unconditional love, loyalty, and a reason to get out of bed. They gave me purpose when I felt like I had none. They reminded me that someone depended on me, needed me, and loved me exactly as I was.
Through their companionship, they taught me patience, responsibility, and how to live in the moment. They showed me that happiness can be found in the simplest things—a walk, a wagging tail, a quiet moment together. Most importantly, they helped me put my head back where it belonged.
When I felt broken, they helped me heal. When I felt alone, they stayed by my side. When I couldn’t see my own worth, they somehow saw it in me every single day.
The impact dogs have had on my life can’t be measured. They didn’t just change my direction; they changed my heart. They helped me become a stronger, better version of myself.
I will always be grateful for the lessons they taught me, the love they gave me, and the way they helped guide me back to myself. Sometimes the greatest heroes don’t wear capes. Sometimes they have four legs, a wagging tail, and a heart big enough to save a life.
